2007 BMW 5 Series facelift � Official!

It�s about time we took a break from all that Detroit madness; don�t you agree? Well that is if BMW doesn�t surprise us tomorrow by unveiling its 2007 5 Series Sedan & Touring at the Detroit Show, though I doubt it. For now though, we thank BMW for releasing the initial facts and images of the updated 2007 5 Series on its�public site!

Starting off with its exterior appearance the slightly revamped 5 Series obtains a different air intake on the front bumper, crystal - clear headlamps and a redesigned grille. In the interior the most significant changes include the revised trim, upgraded material quality, revamped i-Drive system and a new auto gearbox knob (like the one on the 2007 X5). Word has it that the facelifted 5 Series which will go on sale in Europe at the end of March will also receive upgraded powerplants and gearboxes, but we�d better wait for the official press release to be sure on that one. We�ll have more on the facelifted Bimmer later on the day.
